Yay! Finally, new Anime releases~
It has been long since I saw an ongoing Anime. :D Today, 3 series has been released! There was IS: Infinite Stratos, Yumekui Merry and lastly, Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica.
Before the start of this season, I watched the previews and trailers of the series and was thinking that the IS Mecha is very well done and looks cool.
After watching, the Mecha is indeed awesome, the character art may be good, the animation may be above average, but the story somehow doesn't attracts attentions(at least for me). It wonders to me as to how strangely thing fits in just like that all of a sudden.
The fan-service of the episode 1 was pretty bad. Even Rio: Rainbow Gate! contains much better "fan-service". Therefore, i decided to continue it for one or two more episode before making my decision.
I have a hard time absorbing the information until the end though. It is a Fantasy series with Actions and some Comedy. The only thing I can say after watching is that the plot is written with a setting of a real world and a dream world. Another reasons that i like this show is because the of the facts that it contains an extreme amount of cats. Nyaa~!!
Overall, i would say that i am curious about how this series will lead me on. I have decided to watch it. Also, the action was pretty well done. Not of those One Piece or Dragonball standards though, but at least it is about To Aru Majutsu no Index kind of level.
I will probably give it a 6.7 for the whole episode due to the fact that i couldn't fully understand it. The animation however, deserves a 8.6 or even higher.
The episode started with a dream. In the dream, Madoka met Akemi. She continue her own usual procedure when she woke up. But to her surprise, Akemi, someone who she had never met once in reality was transferred to her school. More to her surprise was that Akemi knew who she was and the episode continues with Madoka's usual life until she heard someone or something calling for help.
She followed the sound in her head and met Kyube [a strange 'animal'] who was injured by Akemi. She ran away together with Kyube and Sayaka, her best friend but somehow reached a very strange world with very strange creatures that tries to attack them. Just then, Mami Tomoe came out of nowhere and helped them. She was apparently a Mahou Shoujo.
Overall, i was glad to have watched it! It is definitely one of those series this season that is definitely worth watching! The only one thing that I did not really liked about it is the character art, where every one is drawn 'Chubby'. But I guess that's the artist style of drawing.
