STGCC Day 01 | A day with Kipi and company! ^^

Hi All, today I will be covering on the STGCC event that happened on the 20th and 21st of August 2011, here in Singapore.
For me, the purpose i went for it(and sacrificed my study time) is mainly because of Kipi, and some other reason such as Zaneeds, Akihabara's WhiteCanvas's exclusive Touhou stuffs and etc. Therefore, the post will only be about these. Also, unfortunately, i could only afford a one day ticket, as I still need to save up for the AFA'11 and A.C.M.E III event, so for the 2nd day, I will try to write as much as possible based on the other sources. 

Firstly before i start, I am extremely overjoyed by the fact that I ACTUALLY GET TO SEE Kipi FOR REAL!! I managed to also take a photo with her during her WOF autograph session. So, I shall start off with photos of Kipi, Kipi, and more kawaii Kipi-san! (^o^). And one more thing before I begin, the photo are not HD, because it is taken with a smartphone instead of a camera. Also, a GREAT THANKS to my friend, the owner of the smartphone, 'Huteihua'. :) Okay, I now present you, the WOF autograph session with Kipi! (Kishida Mel was there too, but Kipi was my main piority, so...)

After I took a photo with Kipi(I WAS VERY NERVOUS), I went over and shook hands with Kipi. Upon holding my hands, Kipi said that my hands are cold in Chinese. I didn't know what to reply her(I was totally stunned), so i just laughed it out. That's like the best thing that happened to me! First time in my history, I get to shake hands with one of my idol and she's talking to me! This is like a dream come true! In fact, IT IS A DREAM CAME TRUE!:D And, knowing that she's no stuck-up person in real-life but a cute, friendly and bubbly girl, makes me more proud to be her fan! Also, please please do not spread anymore of those nasty, horrible photoshops' rumors of her. She's how she looked in her photo! NOTHING's PHOTOSHOPPED!

Later in the day, I went to hear the Q&A Talk by Kipi and Tadaaki "Jacky" Dosai from Cosmode of the topic "Cosplay: From Japan With Love". (Poor Quality photos again. Gomen ne. :<)

I was impressed by the interview with the other guest, Tadaaki who is a cosplayer and the chief executive of a cosplay magazine, COSMODE. He is full of energy! \m/(*_*)\m/ For Kipi, her answers are really cute! ^_^ Too bad i can't find any video covering the entire interview but, here's some part of it I managed to dig out: Video #01 & Video #02

(Both images above are taken from OtakuHouse) After the panel, me and my friends went to circle the entire event spot. The interesting thing is that, we kept on coincidentally meeting Kipi.(even when going to the restroom!!) We saw the Zaneeds' booth! I wanted to buy some things from there, but thinking that if i do so, i will have to sacrifice the 'love' at AFA'11 and A.C.M.E III coming soon right after this event, i ended up leaving the booth with nothing. :< We also saw the WhiteCanvas' booth from Akihabara  where they brought along exclusive Touhou products from the Comiket 80! Those items sure was HAWT! Wanted to grab an original Touhou game CD but for the same pathetic reason, i HAD to give it up. At this point, me and my friends left the event because we still have a mountain of study-loads to conquer. In the afternoon, Kipi changed into a Meiko(Vocaloid) Cosplay.

And that concludes the STGCC event Day 01!
For the next day, which I regretted not attending, I will give a write-up of it on another occasion.
